I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. Eph. 1:17 NIV

We discussed wisdom a few weeks ago, so let’s take a look at revelation. A revelation is a surprising and previously unknown fact; especially one that is made known in a dramatic way (Webster). You will be happy to know that I will not go into the last book of the Bible right now. I am ashamed to say I have never studied that book, but I plan to now. Unfortunately, I have listened to too many Christians who told me Revelation was for ministers and scholars, not the average Christian who has not studied her Bible as she should. (Ok, guys give me a break).

God, using His human soldiers, wrote The Book from cover to cover. I know He wrote all of it for His children. When you open your Bible to the Table of Contents, not a single book says, “Skip me, I am too hard!"

If you have never read the Bible, it’s never too late to start. The sooner you begin the sooner the wisdom and revelation begins with God. I am really excited - let’s take this journey together. Don’t miss the Revelation of God.

Dear God,

Please forgive my laziness, apathy, and busyness. You gave

us the instruction book. Maybe if we read it we wouldn’t need

all the pills, counseling, getaways, and all the junk that gives us

pleasure for a little while. When we have You, Jesus, and the Bible,

we have it all!

Love You,
